Pickles "I can't bear to look at photos" - Yahoo
So, like mother-in-law like daughter - Pickles said that she is really really sad about the photos and "can't bear to look".

Like Babs Bush, I'm sure she doesn't want to mess up her "beautiful mind" looking at dead people or tortured people.

Hey, Pickles, it's your husband's fucking fault we're in this mess!

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US First Lady Laura Bush says she was deeply saddened by the scandal over US troops' abuse of Iraq (news - web sites) prisoners.

Saying the abuses made her "sad, really sad," the first lady told ABC television: "To be perfectly frank I can't bear to look at the ones that have been in the newspaper.

"It is really, really sad, I mean, it is sad. I think we -- we agonize as each of those pictures come out and as we see them. It is a picture we don't want the rest of the world to have of us," she said, adding that she was concerned about US troops safety noting the scandal "makes our troops more vulnerable."

1. This doesn't surprise me...none of them want to think about the
consequences of their actions. just like the freepers love things blowing up...but they don't want to see the pieces of children in the craters...

6. That's the main thing that strikes me about this
Even the media has the same attitude (surprise surprise)

They don't give a rat's ass about the torture which they know they approved. They only care that pictures are being shown of it.

7. Yeah but, Saddam's torture was worse
as if torture can be categorized.

I guess Congress will see more pictures tomorrow. Does that mean we will see them by tomorrow afternoon? I am sure Pickles and Babs will sleep just fine tomorrow night.

8. From what we hear about the soon to be released photos
that may no longer be even a subject for discussion.

9. She was particularly upset by this photo...

"It is really, really sad, I mean, it is sad...It is a picture we don't want the rest of the world to have of us," she said."

And she "can't bear to look" at this one until she's had several Long Island Ice Teas:

But for some unknown reason, she finds this one acceptable:

10. tell that to senator john " they must stay classified" warner
She insisted however, that there is a silver lining.

"This is the really good news about the United States of America, though. That is the pictures came to light. People will be prosecuted. Unlike under Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), where there were torture rooms and know one knew about them and didn't come to light," the US first lady said.
