this is the most utterly inane statement I've seen in 62 years of life!! There is absolutely nothing about torture that is good news. Most of the world knew about Saddam's torture rooms for years as well as his other cruelties.

The United States of America had no business engaging in these same activities! There is no excuse for these actions possible. I've said it before and I'll say it again.

George Bush is the Commander in Chief. George Bush set the tone for these atrocities and knew about them. If Saddam is going to be tried and punished for the crimes in his name, George Bush is equally responsible for the crimes in HIS name and should be impeached and tried for those crimes of torture.
