Great statement by Wes Clark

"We owe the men and women in the Armed Forces a tremendous debt of gratitude, but we also owe them the proper equipment, the armored vests, the armored vehicles, the radios that they need so they can do the job safely.

"Yet more than a year after the president sent them into battle, they still don't have this equipment.

"Some 200 lives might have been spared had they had the protective gear and armored equipment that the mission actually requires."

Clark, who ended his bid to become the Democratic presidential candidate in March, said the 200 lives were "an inexcusable loss."

I Don't really see how freeperdom can argue his point, unless they just deny the problems our troops are having getting gear..

Kerry also needs to study Clark's speaking style. Short sentences. Short pithy phrases. Short words.

4. General Wesley Clarke is on top of the facts that Rummy seems to

avoid thinking about or even caring about the facts.....I feel that Kerry could make a glorious choice by either putting General Wesley Clark on the ticket; or making an announcement that Kerry plans to appoint The brilliant General Clark to a top cabinet position such as Secretary of State....He would be terrific... of course this is only my opinion, I could be wrong.....!

7. Well they are saying it's Kerry's fault.

If you watch the Chimp commercial they blame him for voting against "Body Armor" among other things that were all in the same pork loaded bill. I believe Uncle Dick also voted against this bill while he was in Congress. Of course, a little thing like the truth never stands in the way of a good attack ad.
