4. I can tell you something that's more likely to happen, I'm afraid:
Edited on Sun May-09-04 11:32 AM by HypnoToad
The Orkin man will scoop up the wasp nest he sprayed and personally eat the contents in front of the people who paid for him to come out.

I don't see that happening any time soon either. :-(

Not just inspected. Have full time UN involvement. Let's make this clear, the US cannot be trusted. Not any more and not for years to come. (edit, additional: I said that with a lot of pain. What * and those 'soldiers' have done is atrocious and has destroyed our country's credibility in the eyes of many around the world, and I do mean many.)

5. It was the unprovoked invasions of disarmed countries that destroyed
our credibility, not the POW torture.

6. The Illinois Gen Assembly solution!
Gee, they've taken a page from the Illinois Gen Assembly on this one. Several years ago, the Illinois prison system got a horrible black eye when a video surfaced of Richard Speck (mass murderer and all around creepy guy) in prison. One article described it:

"Speck, who died of a heart attack in 1991 while serving a life sentence, details his killings, along with a lesson on strangling: "It ain't like you see on TV. ... You have to go at it for about 3 1/2 minutes." Later the fleshy, middle-aged murderer strips off his prison coveralls to reveal blue women's panties and heavy breasts. He has sex with a fellow inmate, and the two snort what appears to be cocaine and flash what looks like a wad of cash..."

http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/joliet/prisons/speck/tapes.html

Illinois Gov, Jim Edgar, wanted the investigation shut down and sent word to the GOP controlled legislature that any further embarrassment was to be stopped. They complied.

They made it illegal to take video cameras into Illinois prisons.

Sounds like shrub is getting some high level advice here!
