Federal Excluded Parties Listing System -- who the gov can't do biz with.
Now, this is a very interesting govt site I ran across just by happenstance in an related google search!!

It’s called the Excluded Parties Listing System, and can be found here: http://epls.arnet.gov/index.html

It’s basically a database for local, state and federal agencies to use to determine whether a person or a firm has been cut out of the federal grants and procurement programs. So basically, I gather, if for whatever reason a person or firm has done something egregious against the USA or if Congress passes an embargo against a country or for what seems to be a whole host of reasons for the US govt to not do business with them, their name gets put on this Excluded List.

From their FAQs:

Q: What is the Excluded Parties Lists System (EPLS)?

A: EPLS is the electronic version of the Lists of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement and Nonprocurement Programs (Lists), which identifies those parties excluded throughout the U.S. Government (unless otherwise noted) from receiving Federal contracts or certain subcontracts and from certain types of Federal financial and nonfinancial assistance and benefits.

So curious george that I am, I decided to do a search on people I know have been in some trouble with the USA. Like Halderman, Erlichman, John Pointdexter, John Dean (he served time)….. And interesting enough…..the few names I put in re the Watergate situation kind of indicates that the only person that made it to the Excluded List (EL) is John Dean (who, by all accounts, is America’s Hero. Now, Dean was removed from the list in 1998…….

Jim McCord is currently on the list……here is the record, for example:

Name : McCord, James R.
Class : Individual
Record Type : Primary
Exclusion Type : NonProcurement
DUNS :
Address : 523 South Glendale, Sioux Falls, SD, 57104
Description : -- --
CT Actions --
1. Action Date : 26-JUN-1993
Term Date : Indef.
CT Code : R
Agency : OPM
2. Action Date : 26-JUN-1993
Term Date : Indef.
CT Code : Z
Agency : HHS

So…..little researcher sleuths, if you can think of anyone that you would assume SHOULD BE on the list, do a search and see if they show up there. My guess is…..anyone who ever ended up working against the repuke crowd will be on the list; and anyone who got caught but stuck to the “party line” will not be on the list.

So, who are some characters who have done some bad deeds?

(Note: for the currently excluded, you search in the current records; to see if someone was on the list but is no longer on the list, search the ARCHIVES).

Who knows what we might find! And…….we need to get Halliburtan and Bechtel on that list ,,,,,,,and very soon!!! (In fact, we should keep this in the backs of our minds when we impeach all these criminals!)

***There is even a records database for Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons for drug traffickers and ‘terrorists’ ….. which includes, of all things a 2000 Dodge SL! I kid you not! The govt cannot do business with a specific Dodge vehicle. Now….no lic plate or VIN number was given…

Seems this database is 90% companies from Cali, Colombia. Now, we give a TON of money to Colombia - the drug war and all. But most of the listings seem to just be regular companies (construction, newspapers, radio stations, merchants), which could be fronts for the traffickers, of course. But…….given the BFEE’s ‘interest’ in the drug trade and Colombia, I could see the US govt trying to keep legitimate trade at bay there (to increase the NEED for the people to continue dealing in drugs). I know…..tinfoil…..

EXAMPLE:

Is this the ABBAS who the US came to visit Bush to discuss the Road to Peace in the I/P matter? If it is……then Bush should be impeached for harboring the enemy just by simply hosting him at the white house!

Name : ABBAS, Abu
Class : Individual
Record Type : Primary
Exclusion Type : Specially Designated Nationals
DUNS : -- --
Program : SDT
Address :
Description : Director of PALESTINE LIBERATION FRONT - ABU ABBAS
FACTION, DOB 10 Dec 1948.

Alternate identity : aka ZAYDAN, Muhammad

****AND THIS Mexican pharmacy chain that has a bunch of pharmacies on the border in Tijuana. Now…..have they been designated as narco traffickers or is the US govt just cutting them off because sooooooo many Americans cross the border to get meds that they can afford. I can’t imagine a narco trafficker having this many stores! What a nice little gift from the USA for our pharmaceutical companies!!

Name : FARMACIA VIDA
Class : Entity
Record Type : Primary
Exclusion Type : Specially Designated Nationals
DUNS : -- --
Program :
Addresses : 28 different pharmacies in Tijuana (snipped)

Description :
CT Actions --
Action Date : -- --
Term Date : Indef.
CT Code : -- --
Agency : TREAS - OFAC
Alternate identity : aka FARMACIA VIDA SUPREMA, S.A. DE C.V., R.F.C.
FVS-870610-LX3 Mexico.
aka FARMACIAS VIDA

*****And, the PKK of Kurdistan is on the list too!!! So much for including them in the New Iraq!

You would think Al Queda would be on the list……but it isn’t! The Taliban is on the list.

**the Iraqi oil tankers are on the list. And, incredibly enough, a lot of them have flown under the Saudi flag. Makes you go hmmmmmmm.

*****obviously, I am really bored!!!
