3. Nope
Zell Miller is not as bad as Lott.

A few years ago, Jesse Helms and Lauch Faircloth would have taken this contest running away...

23. But Lott is not as bad as Frist, as Leader.
Frist stains the Senate being a lapdog for Rove. I think Lott had some respect for the Senate as an institution v. the executive. Frist whores.

2. What about Tennessee with Frist and Alexander?
Alexander's not as bad as Frist but that's about the only good things you can say about him.

5. well
Since there were 19 or so states and the poll only have option for 10, I had to chose which one to include.

I also allowed myself to include Georgia in the poll htough Zel Miller is D.

Warner isn't as bad as Allen, but he still tows the Repug line.

35. Exactly right!
George Allen is down there with pRick Sphinctorum in the bottom of the barrel category; while Warner, who professes to be a moderate, votes with the wingnut repugs most of the time.

6. FROM MY GREAT STATE OF TEXAS
It is sad but true, Texas should win this poll hands down. Cornyn took the place of Phil Gramm (the Incubus) and has taken it upon himself to be Bush's waterboy by advocating important issues like the Anti Gay Marriage Amendment, "We need to change the rules to nominate the judges the democrats don't like" movement, and anti-abortion legislation.

Kay Baily Hutchison receives more money from the NRA than any other Congressperson in the United States.

It's my state - the State of Bush. But I want that to change b/c most of us down here are normal. :+

11. It's really hard having them "represent me"
We also have to deal with Tom Delay. Texas has suffered enough and our Evangelist Hair governer is a piece of work too. I hope someday, this state can elect some reps that you and the rest of the country can be proud of. Until then, keep us in your prayers.

:)

25. Ever send a letter to them?
I've sent a bunch.

Always get back that really personal form letter, basically informing me that while they are glad I'm letting them know how I feel, they are still going to vote the other way.

Basically the reply is: Letter received, kindly fuck off now.

28. I've written those losers before
I usually get a letter thanking me blah blah. They tell me their position (which is the opposite of mine - always) and say they are "considering all points of view" but they don't tell me what they are actually going to do. I hate them so very very much. GRRRR:grr:

33. Personally Visted Last May - The Response Was Nada - This Is What I Said!
I told the staffers when scheduling the appointment at both offices that I had an issue of national importance to discuss.

At the meeting, I set the stage by laying my BSEE on the table, next my DD214, then my MBA, and finally my commercial pilot license.

I said we have a problem in this country when someone with this much skill and experience cannot find suitable employment. (at that time I was unemployed for three years, now four years)

The republicans present were speechless. They refused to believe that this story could be true. It was clear that they were, and probably still are, in deep denial.

I was very apolitical and even sent a nice thank you note after the meeting. I never heard one word from them again.

Clearly, this was not an issue they cared to consider or address.

18. Glad somebody else said that! I've been saying it since he
first started his campaign. I live in Ga. now, but have lived all over the country. NEVER heard of the name Saxby before! I voted for Zell & Saxby in the poll because Zell is worse than any of the Pubs...he's just a traitor! And Saxby somehow has gotten very powerful since his election. I never remember seeing a Freshman Senator always in the pictures with the President! Look next time. He's in all the bill signings, all the photo ops in the Rose Garden. I wonder just what he did to gain that position? Or what does he have on the admin.?

12. Texas. Cornyn is the most right-wing anti-progressive senator there is
according to a couple of different sights I've seen, and both he and Kay Baily are 100 percent tools of the Texas Bush machine.

At least the Utah and Mississippi boys are just religiously indocrinated dumbasses. That isn't as bad in my opinion as the corrupt agent type pols.

14. pennsylvania ...
Specter can still occasionally vote like a human being (like an independent thinker -- OCCASIONALLY) ... but I think Santorum is bad enough on his own to make my state, Pennsylvania, the winner of the Senator Jagoff Sweepstakes.

15. I'd Say My Old Home State of PA
specter = ass licking coward who will go whatever direction the wind blows to save his political skin. Example, taking pres. moron's support to fend off a wingnut challenger then distancing himself from him the day after the primary.

santorum = "a Forrest Gump with an attitude" in the immortal words of Teresa Heinz Kerry!

All choices, however, are worthy!

even though I haven't lived there for ten years.
Brownback & Roberts take the cake.
Thank god they're from Kansas so they get don't get paid as much attention to as they would if they were from a bigger state.

I wish Dole had acted the way he does now when he was Senator!

37. so did I
Roberts isn't hideous, but Brownback is a dangerous nutcase. Sad that he's going to run unopposed this year - Ruff withdrew from the race and any other Democrat is so late at this point it's almost impossible. If only Jill Docking had run again this year...damn.

My loathing of this creep knows no boundaries.

IMO, the worst person in the United States Senate.

I'd move to Pennsylvania in two years if I could, just to help you guys get rid of that bastard.

34. They all make me sick the lying thieves and cowards!
My grandma was smarter than all the Repigs and half the Democrats in Congress, because she had it exactly right when she told me this: "There is NO Honor among thieves!"

Bushco steals the food out of American children's mouths and give the loot to the richest people in America! If these greedy self-serving people rip off the most helpless people in America, their own countrymen, whom they swore to protect with their hands on the Bible, how the Hell can the people in Iraq expect them to be honorable men? These are the same crooked lying people who let Kenny Boy and his ilk steal billions from senior citizens and have yet to do a single thing about it! Why should the people of Iraq or America or anywhere on the planet, expect the justice George Bush and the other GOP liars and crooks now promise?
