McClellan on the missing Bush apology: "I'm saying it now for him."
Bush launches damage-control effort in prisoner abuse scandal

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1856&ncid=1856&e=9&u=/cpress/20040506/ca_pr_on_wo/iraq_us_prisoners

"Bush dismissed Arab comparisons of U.S. behavior to the barbaric regime of captive Iraqi president Saddam Hussein."

"His trained torturers were never brought to justice," said the president. We have nothing to hide. We believe in transparency...There will be investigations. People will be brought to justice."

"White House spokesman Scott McClellan said later: "The president is sorry for what occurred and the pain it has caused."

"Asked why Bush had not apologized, McClellan said: "I'm saying it now for him."

6. How twisted a piece of shit is this little Bush fuck?!
He can't even bring himself to apollogize for the behavior of his own troops?! He is psychotic! This is a clear window into his psychopathy.

7. Anyone read Conason on Bush's "Shame on me" gaffe?
Remember, Bush tried to do the "Fool me once" cliche, and got befuddled, stumbling, and finally freezing on the phrase "Shame on me," changing it to "Won't be fooled again?"

Everyone but Conason blamed this on Bush's dead brain, but Conason believes that Bush is unable to say the phrase "Shame on me," even in a cliche.

Maybe the neurotically insecure one can't say "I'm sorry," either.

12. Didn't someone write a book about Bush's speaking patterns as...

insight into his psychology? And wasn't the only time he seemed glib was talking about revenge or killing?

27. Yeah.
You'll see chimpy stammer and slurr words ad nauseum. It's absolutely painful to watch him try to speak. But when he talks about punishment and killing everything just comes rolling right off the tongue. That's another reason why the konservative fundies love this hump so much.

22. He's a definite sociopath
It startles me that their there are people who don't see it, that can't tell all the religion stuff is a con, but I guess you have to know other sociopaths to really see through them.

The sociopaths I know say they are sorry all the time. It's another tool in their con box. Something else is going on with Bush.

Top to bottom, that's Bush.

Does not perceive that anything is wrong with them

Remind anyone of a certain press conference where bozo was asked if there was anything he wishes he had done differently?

It is almost as if he was the very basis for that description. Amazing that no psychologist has stepped forward and connected these dots.

13. Typical of a scion of wealth...
Sends his minions out to do his dirty work...and to say the things he's afraid to say in person.

Dub just conforms to that "brat in the sand box/preppy powder boy" image to a tee!

Somehow, I just don't think that "pResidential Infallibility" stuff is going to work for him this year!:eyes:

B-)

14. McClellan isn't even a good liar.
I seriously dislike little Scotty "the unbelievable spin" McClellan. Whenever I hear him speak I feel like I'm being insulted.

Who really thinks that having McClellan doing the apology is going to change the average Muslim's opinion of the U.S.?

26. Just like you, commoners to miss the point:
"I'm the commander - see, I don't need to explain - I don't need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president. Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they say something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation".
See?
