Cry me a river Mr. Powell, you do have the ability to quit you know!
Poor Colon, he's calling the Pakistan and Cuba policy the "the dumbest policy on the face of the Earth", he bemoans the firefighting role in President George Bush's cabinet, "he has spent as much time doing damage control and, shall we say, apologizing around the world for some less-than-graceful actions as he has anything else," he's under great distress, his mentor from the National War College, Harlan Ullman, describes the US national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, as a "jerk", he's inherently uncomfortable with the grand ideological visions of the Neo-Cons, he's upset of the policy towards China and Taiwan, he's upset with the hawks' lack of diplomacy in Pakistan, and on and on and on......

BUT...You keep working there Colon! You remind me of the office worker that walks around all day bitching and moaning about how much they hate their job until someone finally pipes up to say, "then quit asshole"!

Colon...it's obvious that you are trying very hard through your surrogates to save that very last hair of your reputation. Between me and you Colon, you're already completely bald...

Now if you want to leave with any dignity, QUIT NOW and tell us all the truth of why you quit..... You will do more for your Country with that gesture than anything you can do. Otherwise if you stay with the Boy King you're doing nothing more than propping him up for another 4 years.

Do it Colon!

1. I had some hope for Powell at first...
but he made a deal with the devil. It's like the Red Cross...today the BBC reported that the Red Cross knew what was going on at the Iraqi prison and continually asked for it to be stopped...nicely, I guess..."pretty please"...why they didn't scream it from the rooftops is beyond me and why Powell has continued to whore for Bush, until now, I beyond me...power, I guess. But note that Powell hasn't said any of this...it was his top aide.

2. I use to think
that he stayed around to ensure some moderation in these idiot's actions - that was when I still had some respect for him. But when he lied at the UN I completely changed my mind. He is no better than the creeps he works with - he should have quit instead of shilling for this war. Too late now to redeem himself.

3. I agree
he will never regain the stature he once had...the respect I once had for him has evaporated. He's become no different from the other war loving neo-cons.

5. Exactly.....
.... just as with Bush* and the whole gang, if you want to know what they really think, watch what they do, not what they say. Talk has never been cheaper.

6. Fuck him
Not only has he proven himself incompetant, he seems like he has the usual problem with state dept officials -- kiss dictators asses because everything is about stability. He really is like Kissinger, except not quite as smart.

Meanwhile, he helps defend the war in Iraq.

I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for this fool.

11. Does he think they're going down
and he's trying to distance himself from Bushco and perhaps save himself?

12. I think so
but he's doing a half-ass job trying. Here's the deal... By him staying on he is enabling Bush to capture the White House for the next 4 years. If it's so God Damn bad as his surrogates are saying, why whould he want 4 more years of it? I don't get it. If he were to pull the plug on the Neo-Cons by quitting and blasting the Bush Admin, it sure would be helpful for Kerry. Does he think for a moment that Kerry would be worse than Bush and the PNAC'ers?

No Colon...if you love your Country then you'll do the right thing...If you don't, then you'll sit on your hands and allow another 4 more years of this kind of Bullshit!
