Lou Dobbs does it again.
Edited on Wed May-05-04 05:21 PM by Timefortruth
In commentary he said Chimp should apologize, America must be accountable.

On edit: Up next is a study of electronic voting and its impact on democracy.

How long can this guy keep his job?

1. Dobbs seem to help our cause more than any other on TV.
Well maybe with the exception of Olbermann. This is an admitted conservative and republican who is seeing through the cloud of bullshit and crossing his own party line to expose the lies, atrocities and hypocracies. He's one of my heroes right now.

7. Dobbs switched from Republican to Independent last year.
BushInc truly chased him away from the party. There must be many more like Dobbs - those who believe in big business but also accountability for those businesses to their workers and customers.

16. With both the DNC/DLC and the GOP morphing into corporate water boys
Many of us are without a party and scrambling to find a place to find home.

17. Then you should be thrilled that Kerry is the nominee
Edited on Wed May-05-04 07:18 PM by blm
since no corporatist could rack up as stellar a record on the environment and strong labor credentials or helped craft the Kyoto Protocol as Kerry has done over his career.

Kerry is also a longtime advocate for public financing of campaigns to take ALL corporate and fat cat money OUT of politics. He has been since 1985 and will use the bully pulpit to push it through as president.

Hopefully you are aware that Kerry named two liberals, Dick Durbin and Stephanie Tubbs Jones as his representatives at the DNC.

18. It would come across clearer
If Kerry would just say he is against the corporate giveaways. He kinda says it, but then also says in certain situations it is okay.

It gives one the impression that he might favor corporatists. In this environment where corporatists rule, anyone seen as giving them an inch means that they are going to get a mile.

This "but" business is where he loses many of us.

and when he's feeling good he calls him Shrub.

5. He sure appeared "apologetic" during his "Arab World Interviews" today.
When will he speak to Americans? When will he apologize to us?

9. He may have appeared "apologetic"

But when it came time to issue an actual apology, he sent out Scotty to deliver it for him. How much longer before he's found just like Scarface....face burried in a pile of cocaine?

11. That "Arab press" interview, was for us, not the Arab world.
He told viewers what a great country we have here, that is good enough for the base.

There was no apology.

6. Lou Dobbs has balls and is showing it.
He always seemed a likable person to me but I am very surprised at his calm but effective criticisms of the Bush Administration. When people such as Lou are fed up with the Clowns in Charge I know us Democrats are going to win and win big. ...Oscar

8. No doubt--Lou is a Republican Conservative
but he's one who is disgusted with the direction this country has been taken under Bush. He may not be a DU convert yet, but by being a Repug Conservative, he carries far more weight than 100 of us would if we had are own TV shows. Coming from someone like him, it really does help to drive the problems caused by the Bush mis-administration home.

know that he needs to keep hammering on electronic voting and that it should be suspended totally until the questions surrounding are resolved.

14. Respect
Dobbs is one of very few Conservative that deserves respect. While not agreeing with everything that he espouses but some, especially on the outsourcing and re-location of US mfg,I believe that there are other Conservatives that hold Bushco is great disdain.

19. He's the best!
I saw that twinkle in his eyes last night when he gave the story of Bush's bus being made in Canada, while Kerry's is American made, and I knew, I just knew that he knows we have cowards, traitors, and thieves in the white house. And he's calling it like he sees it.

This would be his second call for an apology. He asked for one on Monday night too.

20. One of the best shows I've seen in ages. He packed it all in there...
worth checking out the "repeat" tonight. I'm not so much a fan of his, being mistrustful of all our media. But he was "dead on" tonight in this show, and I have to say it was a masterpiece for folks like me.
He hit all my "hot buttons" and it was incredible to see what the "whore media"could do if they put their mind to it.

Tune it in if you are on the West Coast or catch the replay for Central and East Coasters.
