If those torture pictures are just "blowing off steam,"
why wasn't that what Clinton was doing? A quick little BJ to relax. A CONSENSUAL act, BTW, and not rape. But raping and torturing people is just a little harmless fun? I cannot understand the right wing. They seemed totally horrified by anything related to sex until now, when it is apparently just a harmless diversion.

3. The problem
The photos give the public the idea that this was the only type of torture that has been carried out. The real tortures are on the back page, so to speak. The beatings to death, the acid burns, the attack of dogs on prisoners and other events are not in the foreground.

For the Muslims what has been shown so far is deeply humiliating due to their own culture but the heavier tortures are being played way down by most media.

All the statement by the players in this situation will mean little, even the Pres. speaking on Arab TV. The damage has been done and no amount of PR will undue it. This has ratcheted up the seething hatred of America in the ME and Indosia another notch!

4. Exactly...the things theprisoners did were so abhorrent to them you can
be sure they didn't "voluntarily comply" to assume the position.
