And, once again, another "how much did Bush know and when did he know it" mess:

"Senators demanded to know why President Bush was not earlier informed of a report detailing complaints against U.S. soldiers and why Rumsfeld and Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, had not yet read the 2-month-old document. Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle of South Dakota complained specifically that Rumsfeld and Myers said nothing about the investigations when they briefed senators only a few hours before the abuse charges became public last week.

So, just like 9-11, he was TOLD about it, he was AWARE of it, he DISMISSED it, and now it's biting him on the ass three frigging months later.
