Poll question: Leftist Americans: Are your economic/political views Marxist / Socialist?
Edited on Tue May-04-04 07:00 AM by clonebot
Which one of these is the closest to your own beliefs? i'm curious.. This is without considering social issues such as homosexuality, abortion, etc .. And when I refer to socialism its not bolshlevik socialism (I.e. godless dictatorship) but the general marxist economic view..

Check it out ----> http://www.dsausa.org/dsa.html

John Conyers and David Bonoir are supporters of it - and Cornel West is an active member.

2. I believe that shorter poll questions are less confusing...
since you can actually read all of them instead of having to wonder exactly WHAT that truncated sentence says. Heh.

7. John LENNON/Groucho MARX
Marxism was an economic theory had applied specifically to industrial society. The foundation was based in large part on a study of "pre-industrial" societies, including family structures. We are now well beyond "post-industrial" society, deep into the high-tech economic structure, where the family unit is remarkably different than in Marx's time. Hence, it is not really possible to be a Marxist in the present time. Be here now.
