Get the troops out NOW!
Forget the "we broke it, we must fix it" stuff. The fact that word and the pics have gone out worldwide of our humiliation and torture of Iraqi prisoners, our reputation in the Middle East and the world has diminished. Face it people. We must get out now!

I cannot believe John Kerry still thinks we should continue to be there. Even with the help of NATO or the UN, the Iraqis will still hate our guts and try to kill us. What is really disturbing is the fact that most Americans still think we are doing the right thing in staying there. Also add this to the mix. The fact that the photos and stories are out only intensified the anger and rage among the Arab and Islamic world. Now you won't have hundreds of young men willing to die for Allah, you'll have millions. I would rather just have the U.S. stay out of the Middle East altogether. Forget Israel, forget Iraq. Just leave them alone. Screw this isolationism baloney. It is just common sense and that is lacking a lot these days.

Let's just cut our loses and get out of Iraq.

1. Now that's what I'm talkin about.
And as for the objection that Iraqis will be at each other's throats, well, staying there another year or five, or putting UN troops in the middle isn't going to change things. People have memories. They're going to deal with it now or later. So, let them work it out, whatever that means.

2. Kerry said this
BEFORE this broke out...

I suspect he will change his toon, soon enough because this is the
turning point, these are the photos that lost the war... as the
Guardian put it

And yes... this will take time for many to realize... what this means

And I am waiting for the explosion

3. Damn straight!
People need to face up to the fact that American's hate Iraqis so
the only reason to stay is to steal from them or kill them.

Even with this obvious fact we will probable stay to kill and steal.

The mask is off.

All that remains is the brutal truth.

4. the sooner the better
even kerry has to admit like everybody else who may have initially supported the war, that he was lied to by all the military experts and insiders. we were all lied to about the war. so we should stop all the killing and retreat. there is no dishonor in a retreat like this. the russians lost thousands of men trying to bring order to afghanistan, they were made to feel unwelcome.

this finish the job mantra is just noise.

10. Kick for the Kerry supporters.
Edited on Tue May-04-04 08:05 PM by Cascadian
Please tell the Senator to change his tune about Iraq. It is not working and that heckler at one of Kerry's rallies was right. Kerry cannot go on supporting this chaos. No amount of UN or NATO help is going to make any damned difference.
