MSNBC runs Anti'Kerry Ad right after Tweety trashes Dean Who Fought Back!
and the "anti-Kerry ad" didn't have the "I'm President George Bush and I endorse this ad" disclaimer preceding the ad. THIS IS ILLEGAL!

I know Tweety will say..."segment with Dean ran over and they couldn't get the whole "paid" commercial in because of the time..so we dumped Bush disclaimer...BUT HEY! Everyone knew it was from Bush...why the F**k do we care about a bunch of "puny Dems" whining over FCC rules..WTF..are you all getting a "hard on" because I had your "hero Dean" on my F**ing show? Get a life you "weenies." I don't want to hear your F**ing Crap.

So, given that I knew that was what Matthews would say, I sent a complaint with a "CC" to Michael Copps our Dem Rep on the FCC along with my searing e-mail to Matthews that MSNBC had run an "Anti-Kerry AD" right after Dean (where Tweety was MOST DISCOURTEOUS AND DEMEANING) and then topped his disaster of a show with an ad putting the P-Resident in legal jeopardy with the FCC.

3. Oh get a grip, please. Matthews was giving Dean
Edited on Mon May-03-04 07:21 PM by LandOLincoln
a pretty fair razzing, but it was good natured and Dean took it as such. You Deanies have got NOTHING to complain about vis a vis Matthews, IMO.

One of Tweet's kids worked on the Dean campaign, IIRC, and it was obvious when Dean did his hour on Hardball back in November or December that Tweets likes him just fine--he even fed him a couple of answers when Dean was screwing up, for heaven's sake.

6. Your Right
Mathews even told Dean tonight that he liked Dean. Chris is really trying to be fair and open minded. Better than most of the idiots reading the news.

8. Please... You guys are such suckers...
Tomorrow night he'll be a different bird... BTW: You see tweety disagree with Dean about Cheneys deferments... Tweety was dead wrong and Dean was right.

11. Tweety flip flops a lot. Still it was a good interview. He let Dean talk
I don't like Matthews pandering sometimes, but this was a good interview with Dean. He was able to get his points made.

23. It's about the AD not the interview and I'm not a Deanie...But your bias
Edited on Mon May-03-04 08:35 PM by KoKo01
shows through your thin skin that you need to still be thinking any post with Deans name is some Deanie eating sour grapes.

You got it wrong and need to read posts more carefully or pass them buy if they annoy you. :D

4. When it is a negative ad, they approve the message at the front of the ad
So that the people will not associate the negative ad with the candidate. If it a positive ad, they approve the message at the end, as Kerry did, as a reminder of the positive nature of the ad and the candidate mentioned. Kerry's ad was about Kerry and Bush's ad was about Kerry....??

15. Kentuck! The rule was that candidates had to state at the beginning WHO
the ad was place by and who it was representing as part of the "little that's left" of the Campaign Finance Reform Law. So that's why we've been seeing "this ad is paid for or endorsed by George Bush or John Kerry."

Now the ad I saw was an exception to this rule and to the ads I've been seeing. that's the point of my post which all except you, thank God, have missed.

Am I correct about what I said? If not, show me where I'm wrong....sheesh ...I thought I was clear..and folks think I'm talking about Tweety and Dean!

16. KoKo01, I think the new law only states that the candidate has to state...
that he approves of the ad but it does not specifically state that it has to be at the front of the ad. Kerry approved of his ad at the end. It is for psychological reasons.

22. I'm talking about the Bush ad trashing Kerry that ran after the segement,
and NOT an ad supporting Kerry. My husband saw it also...and had the same take I did. Either we are both  or something illegal that needs to be addressed took place. If no one thinks it's a big deal then thats okay by me, as long as they really read my post about the ad and the disclaimers involved.

9. I had a different take. I thought it was a good interview.
I did not see the ad, but I had the tape running....so I will check.

I feel like Chris is pretty decent to Dean when he is on, and that is where he has had some of his best interviews. They get a good dialogue going.

Chris is not one of my favorite people, but I will watch when Dean is on there. Chris has a rather grudging respect for Dean, and the interviews are good.

Disclaimer in front saying it was "paid for by Bush!" I'm not talking about Tweety and Dean going at it...it's that the Repugs are doing illegal things in collusion with MSNBC!

Oh...forget it!

18. Bush Ads running on Hardball and Oberman for past few weeks
I didn't notice whether Bush said the disclaimer.

Thought the interview was good, though. Dean hit Bush hard and for the most part it looked like Tweety was going along for the ride. My impression was that they were both sort of yucking it up for the most part.

As I've said before Kerry's real fortunate in the guys he beat for the nomination. The Doctor the General and the Lawyer have become his biggest defenders.

ask you to post here, if you feel it's "hyperbolic nonsense" then just pass the post by. No one is draging you to post on something you don't want to, and particularly, if you can't take the time to read it before you "shoot off!"
