Poll question: Is Chimp really going to ride the bus?
Here's what we know, first, Chimp and the gang lie even when it's easier to tell the truth (it might be some control issue thing). Second, Chimp is a world class coward, this has been demonstrated so many times here that I need not elaborate. Third, the bus will not be as safe as the limo or even a small well-maintained jet. Forth, Chimp has no interest in what real people think so why would he bother actually getting near them.

Naturally for the Chimp to off taking another mode of transportation might take the tacit cooperation of the liberal media. Maybe it is possible that they would compromise their journalistic integrity just this once in the name of national security. <sarcasm off>

3. did you mean uncooperative journalists-since the corporate media loves *?
They will manage to do a switch since there will be only one or two cooperative journalists aboard.

4. What I should have said is
Bush won't ride and it won't be reported because only one or two journalists will be aboard and they will agree to keep the secret.

8. It's just another set for a Bush* photo op
Just like Bush arriving on the aircraft carrier wearing a flight suit; just like the plastic turkey, just like chimpy reading a book to the school kids on 9/11. It's all show.

9. They were actually critical of Bush on NPR today...
The reporter was speaking about Bush's appearance in Indiana or Michigan.. The report consisted mainly of how all the people at this phoney "Ask Bush" event were handpicked. He told how they had to be invited or pre-registered. He also noted that not ONE question had to do with Iraq or the Economy. AND.. Bush took EIGHT questions only.. and spoke the rest of the time. The reporter really hammered the fact that this was a bullshit event.

But Bush is just sooo likable.. he'll probably come to the next even driving the damn bus! (after exiting his lima a block before the event). The man wears a flak jacket when he speaks to reporters in the Rose Garden for heaven's sake.. he aint' riding on no bus!

10. CNN just reported that Chimp will spend more time on
Air Force One than the bus today. Kerry's campaign should hire me since I must be a clairvoyant. That or the Bush people are sadly and obviously predictable.

I will concede that I'm a little surprised that CNN reported it even once. They likely won't run it again since by saying it once they have the can claim balance. If they report it more than once might mean an appreciable number of people find out.

Close your eyes and imagine the reaction if Kerry flew a jet between stops on a bus tour. It would make the Scott Peterson case look like sixth page news.
