First, the sloppy thinking. He was asked is he got his father's ADVICE. Then he switches terms--he goes to another father for STRENGTH.

Then, what's notable is that, even with God, he didn't ask for advice, or wisdom, or inspiration, or insight, or clarity--just strength. Even with God, he already knew his decision.

The essence of a drunk--wet or dry--is summed up in the phrase "self will run riot." This anti-intellectual, ill-educated, lazy, unread and incurious man--he don't need no stinking advice, just the power to impose his will.

that was one-nice guy but he`d throw you under the bus if you crossed him. he was basically clueless about what he was doing but the upper managment thought he was great. dry drunks are people one should avoid at all costs and we have one that is starting the "end times".

family are drinkers? they're not going to tolerate someones sobriety.

Barb is a LEGENDARY drinker, as is poppy bush. The stories about jeb and niel are HYSTERICAL.

And let's not forget the new generation of drunks, the twins.

Trust me, there is no sobriety in that family.

3. Drinking and George

When he first told us that he has been dry since his 40th' we should have realized that you cannot trust anything he says. You know how I know for sure he is lying. He's talking... what a disgrace

I recall one article (and only one) a few years ago which suggested Shrub was still drinking.. I mean, really - how does somebody injure himself while sitting on a sofa eating chips?? I'll let falling off the Segway pass for the moment.. I've never ridden one.. could happen??

I also recall one article (and again, of course, only one) that hinted at a strong appetite for teenage Mexican girls?? Anybody got anything on this one?? ..Maybe our Texas friends can help us out here??

All that aside, my lasting image of this poor excuse for a man has always been my first:

He's the arrogant rich kid from high school who:
1) openly disdained you and everybody else below his socio/economic class, including teachers..
2) stole and got away with it..
3) cheated and got away with it..
4) sexually assaulted your sister and got away with it..
5) smirking all the while for all of the above because..
6) he knew he'd never pay a price or have to take responsibility for any of his actions..
7) got into a good college even though he was a dumbass with a lackluster GPA..

THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION: THIS IS WHAT IGNORANCE AND INCOMPETENCE LOOKS LIKE IN HIGH PLACES

..the rest of the world sees it plain as day..
