anybody attend a Kerry house party yesterday?
I went to one around the corner- live music, good food- raised about $700- in a small upstate NY town, I think that's pretty decent. I donated (again)- Ante up if you can people, every little bit helps. Kerry will need lots of cash in the months ahead and your $20, 30, 100 bucks will help enormously. I have never donated to a political campaign before but I have been moved to do so since Bushco. came into office.

1. Nope.
His position on occupying Iraq as well as his plan to cut corporate taxes are not the sort to which I would contribute a single penny.

If he can be brought to more sensible--not to say respectable--positions on these critical matters, then yes, I'll make a contribution. But it's up to him to merit it.

2. You don't understand his tax position.
Kerry is CLOSING the tax loopholes for corporations. He will CANCEL government contracts with any corporation who uses offshore banking to avoid taxes.

Kerry is offering tax breaks ONLY to those businesses who use that money to add employees and strengthen employee benefits.

How anyone can be against that is a mystery.

4. who will you vote for?
we need to elect someone other than bush, and if we need to hold feet to the fire after the election, that's what we do. I think John Kerry is a decent human being, he has my vote.

5. Doubt you'll get an answer
that truly reflects an honest examination of Kerry's record and policy positions.

3. GOOD work ! it's great to hear some UPBEAT efforts to elect Kerry
and TAKE BACK AMERICA....been working since Christmas on Kerry's campaign here in DC....like you, I wish others would at least help a little bit, instead of slinging insults and undermining Kerry...

your post feels so much better than all the mememememe Kerry-bashing reTHUGlicans that have come here to do their DAMAGE, with 'little' lies and whispers about everything from Kerry's hair, his religion, his wife, his Vietnam service, and today, his stance on pot, what he might do to bush* AFTER he takes office....ALL OF THIS CRAP is just slung out to undermine Kerry....the total slime effort has been stated clearly over and over on reTHUGlican web pages...the reTHUGs know how to do it and are working overtime here on DU....

don't let them GORE Kerry....fight for America....

STAND UP NOW and take action....
start here today....
