When will the media use the phrase "American attrocities"?

What's happening in the prisons of Iraq is by any definition war attrocities. When will we start calling it what it is? We all knew it would happen.

4. The job of the media is to report what we, repeat, WE do and say

If we keep using the words atrocity and terror, and so on, to describe American actions, the media will eventually have to pick up on this and start using those words themselves. We should not wait around for the media to tell us how to use our language. We should continue to use the correct words to counter the information the corporate media tries to pass off as truth.

6. This is precisely what needs to happen

A lot of things we have been saying here at DU for years are now being said in the main stream press about Iraq, 9/11, terrorism, the energy task force, AWOL and many other things. We have the ability to give the press and spokespersons the backbone to start calling these things what they are... war attrocities and the perpetrators are war criminals.
