The good news about America is that it eventually does the right thing.

Slavery was ended, women and minorities got the right to vote, segregation was abolished and
civil rights were enacted.

All these things that were accomplished; however, didnÕt come easy, it came with
great struggle and sacrifice.

All these things I listed minus slavery were accomplished by protest and not through
military service.

So, protest and not just military service is an EQUAL expression of service and patriotism to the country.

3. The American dream is simply...
...the opportunity to lead a happy and successful life without being hindered by where you came from, whom your parents are, or the color of your skin.

"We should never settle for less than our highest aspirations in our leaders and for our country. Because we are America - where everything is possible - everything is possible every single day." -John Edwards
