The official George W. Bush prison thread
I don't think there are too many people here who think George W. Bush should be walking the streets. So...

Assuming justice is done and Bush winds up behind bars:

1) What will he be convicted of? (Besides treason.)

2) How long will he get?
2a) Will he get the death sentence?

3) Will he receive the possibility of parole?

4) Which prison will he go to?

5) Will he be put in general population? Why or why not?

6) What job will he receive in prison?

7) Will he live until the end of his sentence?

My answers:

1) Perjury.

2) At least ten years; possibly 20.
2a) No.

3) No.

4) The civilian prison in Leavenworth, Kansas.

5) No, because some guy in there will have a brother who died in Iraq.

6) Laundry attendant.

7) Yes, if he's kept out of the general population, but his nose will be a completely different shape.

1. My thought I'd like to add is that
Edited on Sat May-01-04 04:48 PM by Must_B_Free
we are being vindicated in that our position we fought for was right in retrospective.

I want to say let's not give up here and be placated with this win. Let's not let the media get away scott free - they were complicit in this crime.

I, for one, will not accept the excuse "I got fooled", which is the out for everyone jumping off this sinking ship. Anyone who profited knew what they were doing.

2. We Should Re-Open the Upper Level of Alcatraz Just for Them
Give Shrubbie Al Capone's old cell.

Keep the daily tours, we want those bastards where we can see them.

3. Other than a land-slide loss in Nov, the only way the rest of the
world will ever have a bit of the respect for the USA that they once had is if we show that the election thief was not one of us. Seeing him punished severely would be a start -- after smashing him and his ilk to the dirt in the elections. I feel a lot better.

4. Since Jan. 20, 2001, I've wanted Alcatraz re-opened
just to house the * cabal and family and their cronies, like Ken Lay and Skilling and etc., and they should be in a big pen with viewing platforms. We'll call it something like "Hall of National Shame", and let people come to visit and throw apples and rotten cabbage on the inmates, especially since those inmates are the ones who are so utterly keen on getting back to the "good old days when people knew right from wrong and judgment was swift and justice was merciless".

And though I'm sure ShrubberMcCokeSpoon has done a wide variety of crimes that are punishable by death, I'm enough against the death penalty that I wouldn't have him executed: I'd much rather know that he's living out his last forty years in shame and humiliation, paying for his criminal-related-activites and his utter contemptabilification for the law.

If this country has any decency - and I like to think that somewhere we still have it - after the election, if ShrubberMcDickWad loses, the new adminstration has to go into IMMEDIATE investigations and criminal charges against almost the entirety of the current administration and bring them to justice. Perhaps even allow a nice, long, very public and very shameful trial at the Hague.
