Thanks for the heads-up. I have signed the petition (now up to 18) and gone to the site to see the g-d-awful toy. It is so badly done with not the slightest resemblence to Zippy that they should be ashamed of more than their lying. However, I did send them a rocket on the Review page. They claim the reviews will help poor old grannies choose toys for the younguns. I most sincerely hope so.

I gave this "toy" a 1/2 star rating only because your system requires a rating of some sort. It deserves far less than this, and your product manager for this department deserves about the same.

Surely KB Toys is not hopping on the jingoism bandwagon with this vile toy! Just because Mr. Bush donned a costume does not make him an aviator anymore than someone donning a Santa Claus outfit makes him Father Christmas. When Mr. Bush was supposed to have been serving in the Texas Air National Guard (not the Navy in any event), he went AWOL, a fact widely documented and conveniently ignored. Sell toys, not jingoistic, misplaced patriotism.

I have no experience with this product. However, I find it egregiously inaccurate to designate George W. Bush as a Naval Aviator. My husband was a Navy fighter pilot (flew an F-8), during the Vietnam War.
His wings and carrier qualification were hard-earned. Many apply, very few are chosen. I'm sorry, but Mr. Bush is not one of them.
