Exit polls prove whoremedia "defined" Gore as a serial liar in 2000.
Edited on Sat May-01-04 02:29 PM by TruthIsAll
From the 2000 Exit poll: Questions posed to Gore, Bush, Nader voters.

And we know that Gore was a gentleman throughout - too much so.
And Bush was...well, Bush was Bush, Mr. Bushit.

Almost twice as many thought Gore was worse of an offender than did Bush.
Who Attacked Unfairly?
............All Gore Bush Nader
Only Gore 25% 8% 91% 1%
Only Bush 14% 92% 6% 2%
Both ..... 35% 52% 43% 4%
Neither 21% 54% 44% 2%

Most (3 of 5) blamed Gore
Did Gore Attack Bush Unfairly?
......All Gore Bush Nader
Yes 60% 33% 63% 3%
No 35% 69% 29% 2%

Less than half blamed Bush
Did Bush Attack Gore Unfairly?
......All Gore Bush Nader
Yes 49% 63% 33% 3%
No 46% 29% 69% 1%

4. Many have said
It was because Gore was a reporter, and other reporters can't stand that one of their own was so much better than them. Of course, Kerry wasn't a reporter, and the "liberal media" is pulling the same crap on him, so I doubt that. The real reason they piled on Gore is that he is a Democrat, and the media is owned by the rethug party.

8. I find it interesting that Dem's think that the pugs own the media
because, if you talk to the republicans, they will tell you that the media is owned by the Dem's.
Personally, I think that the media pretty much puts down both parties on an equal basis.

10. Republicans tell you
Fox is the only unbiased news source on TV. You can only be unbiased to them if you actively work on their side. I don't demand that, I only demand fairness. How many liberal news shows are there? There's several conservative shows, like everything on FOX, there's some debating shows where you have liberals pitted against conservatives, but where are the liberal shows? We get the Daily Show, that's it. I keep hearing the Larry King is a liberal, but since he only ever covers Micheal Jackson or Kobe Bryant, it's hard to tell. We had Donahue, who I didn't like but at least he was on our side, but they canceled him even though he got their best ratings because they "didn't want to be the anti-War news channel". Republicans are unreasonable people. They think Chris Matthews is a liberal, even though he voted for * and repeatedly belittled Gore as a "serial liar". Lou Dobbs, life long Republican, is also a member of the liberal conspiracy to rule the media. And it should be no surprise about the systematic bias of cable news when every single one of the cable news channels is run by Republicans. Rupert Murdoch, well known figure on the Right, Republican. Jack Welch, CEO of GE and NBC, Republican. Even the Communist News Network is run by conservatives these days. Maybe the media was liberal at some point before my time, but all I ever see on the news is Republican talking points.

9. And Gore made two huge mistakes...
... in his campaign IMHO.

One, he LET THEM tell these lies and did not, in general, rebut them. I think the theory being that he would not lower himself to answer such absurd charges. Guess what - if you don't fight back the average American thinks "it must be true".

Two, the ridiculous persona he put on in some of the debates, trying to not be "stiff" and trying to be the "alpha male". It was painful to watch. It was stupid. Whoever talked him into doing it should be flipping burgers for the rest of their life.
