Did anyone watch Bill Moyers on NOW last night
The segment on the Washington March for Womens Rights was amazing. Bill focused on the many religious groups organized in support for the rights of free choice. There testimony on freedom was very compelling.
I was moved to realize that my own objections to war are based on my own religious principles.
We have the moral authority to take this high ground in answer to most of the issues we are struggling with today. The fight for a clean environment, a right to live in a free and open society, the freedom to make personal choices in our lives, and the issue of the morality of war in this age are all arguments rooted in our collective religiosity.
The so called Christian right have no moral foothold with their harebrained ideas of reality.

3. I caught part of it
and the whole of his interview with Bob Edwards. Bill is one of the Texans that let me have a sense of pride in being born in Texas - then again * isn't a native Texan or a cowboy - he just a wanabe Texan and a drug store cowboy - make that a drugie cowboy.

Those of us who are Christian need to take back what is ours. We need to proclaim the Good News of the Beatitudes (Blessed are the ....) to every freeper and rightwing religious fundamentalist talibanist wingnut. It doesn't matter whether they heed the message but they must be comfronted with the words and actions of Jesus Christ and not the made up messiah they have created.

2. Bill Moyers got his point across about the Womens Rights
and all the religious groups they represented during the march in Washington last week-end.

Did you see those sick freepers trying to act holier than thou, with their smug looks?

4. The images of the pro-lifers, for lack of a better term,
were stark. Any comparison between the two groups would offer proof enough to any sane person which side has god on its side.

5. Yes! I love Bill Moyers
That's a damn great show.

Honest, that segment was fantastic. I get hammered so much by some of my friends and even a brother for being pro-choice. I loved it when that lady said:"Nobody is pro-abortion, we're against it, we just believe that it's morally wrong to not give a woman the choice." or something like that.

Made me feel so good to watch that.
