the vendor has it exactly right. as a movie star, he can control his name and image, at least to some extent. but as a politician, he's foreited any control he had, short of libel/slander, which this plainly isn't.

use of such words as "terminator" or "terminated" is somewhat murkier, but that's not directly relevant to this case.
