I thought we were getting rid of torture chambers and rape rooms?
Looks like we've just put the American label on them is all. It is sickening.

Bush, don't tell the world lies that this doesn't represent the American spirit abroad. In fact, it may well graphically epitomize the shamefulness of foreign policy these past three years, you bastard

14. yes, I figured someone had commented on this. you're right.
it is the hight of idiocy that he can get up there and say we've "helped" the Iraqi people. KInd of reminds me of how the pigs made false proclamations in Animal Frrm.

We're just one big ORwellian reality show now

3. It'll be interesting to see if they continue to bring that up.
Or if yet another justification for the war will slip down a hole.

5. All of the justifications are gone now
I think the war is over, the last claim Bush had on Iraq is that we were the *good guys* and that muslims are *evil doers*. The iraqis were wearing the hoods and our masks are off.

7. You know
my friend we may well want him to continue to lie. I don't know if the world or us would really want to hear the truth at this point in time. CowboyCO sure has us in a mess. It would almost be comical if it wasn't so damn serious. What a real failure.

13. We're there to put a "New and Improved" label on things
Edited on Sat May-01-04 10:05 AM by Ezlivin
C'mon, it's corporate America's war! They're making sure our troops are clothed, fed and supplied with affordable fuel.

They can't help but improve things. After seeing the pitiful state of the so-called "rape rooms", upper management knew they could do things better. A little dusting, a little paint, some new furniture (preferably made from exotic Brazilian woods) and some new, trim American personnel at the controls and then the marketing department can take over.

"Come visit our New & Improved Rape Rooms®"

"Visit for a day, stay for a lifetime."

"Now Clothing Optional for those special beatings!"

They've hired AOL's publicity firm to make sure that every Iraqi gets a CD in the mail and a free 100 hour first session....
