a place where I can get pocket constitution books for free or really low cost. This would come out of my budget so cost MUST be low.

1. HS or College level classes?

If it's college, you can require the students to purchase them as part of the course. If it's HS, you might try going to one or two of the local businesses (or the city council depending on your town) and see if you're able to get some sponsorship support.

2. High School

Many kids do not have the money to purchase them.

3. maybe a league of women voters type org would help

or you could pick which one you liked and contact the publisher and ask them for a discount (or a donation). It would probably depend on how many you needed.

5. Try your congresscritter's office

My US Rep Mike Doyle D-PA (one of the good guys) has stacks of them free in his office. I walked in for a couple and walked out with 2 large bundles.
