Poll question: Who is planning to leave the country if Bush stays in power?
There is a lot of concern about the protesters being picked up and treated as terrorists if things continue to go on as they are. Bush is now talking about executing terrorists and protesting could become life-threatening. Then there are concerns about kids being drafted to fight more unjust wars. A great many people I know are planning to pack and leave if Bush pulls off another coup.

On the other hand, if some people don't stay, there won't be anyone left to fight to restore democracy and humanity to our government.

So where does everyone here stand?

2. This reminds me of vichy france
Everyone rode the fence or left, while the socialists and communists (maquis) took to the forests and plotted to fight, not settle or run.

3. Not sure
Depends on the reaction to his win. If there is enough outrage, I will take up my sword, get a gun, and fight until my last breath to beat those bastards. If the people don't care, I'm leaving. No point in fighting a war you cannot win.

4. Option 2 for me, but first I'll take a sabbatical and go sailing. . .
spend a year to 18 months in the "lower lattitudes"

Need to charge my batteries and get away from the craziness for a while.
