What is the penalty for election rigging?
Take a stroll thru the looking glass for a moment & assume that the BBV drama unfolds & proof is offered that people fixed/rigged the election in Georiga so that Max was robbed of his rightful relection.

What would the fine, penalty or jail sentence be for the people convicted of the vote fraud ?

Would there be a way for a Judge somewhere to call the election result null & void & call for a new election ?

Basically the question here is what risk does anyone run that decides to rig an election.

5. I personally feel that it should be the inability to participate
in the political process in any way, shape, or form. You lose your right to vote, you cannot run for any office, you cannot donate money to any candidate, you become a political non-entity. Of course all that on top of jail time and fines....

7. After the election fraud in Florida which took many forms,
After the election fraud in Florida which took many forms, not a single person faced prosecution.

Thousands of legal voters were thrown off the voting rolls before the election.

Republicans were allowed to tamper with absentee ballots by filling in id-numbers on Republican ballots and leaving them blank on Democratic ballots.

Katherine Harris issued a memo saying to count votes from overseas soldiers postmarked AFTER the election.

No one was prosectued, and Katherine Harris was givne a seat in Congress.

8. I have never heard of a judge ordering a new election.
I have never heard of a judge ordering a new election.

Given that the massive fraud in Florida in 2000 didn't prompt a new election, I don't know what would.

At best, a judge will order a recount, but in the case of electronic voting machines which don't print paper ballots, a meaningful recount is impossible.
