Winning Hearts and Minds

U.S. Marines from Gulf Company, a part of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, guard detained Iraqi men near the town of Falluja on April 27, 2004. The men were detained for helping wounded insurgents. (Oleg Popov/Reuters)

The spelling seemed incorrect to me, and the second line looked like "Ali's' something or other. Thinking back to the beginning of this atrocity, I had a vague recollection of some of the prisoners being intentionally humiliated with written slogans on their bodies.
