Lite voter turnout across from our house in PA

We live across the street from a polling place in PA, where Repug's are the majority. This morning my husband, while having his morning coffee, sat and watched as they came and went. When he came in he said that I wouldn't believe what was going on over there. I asked him to explain and he told me that there were about 8 to 10 people standing around, you know giving out those silly fliers for their candidate, before the folks went into to vote. Now keep in mind this election has mostly Repub's running against each other to see who will go up against Tim Holden(D)in November and of course Toomey vs. Spector. Nothing really happening on our side.

Anyway, as the people come up to the door, if they are dressed in jeans and t-shirts, just like an average joe, they were totally ignored by those folks, but if someone came up in a suit or dressed up(as are most who are going to work at that time of the morning) they were practically falling all over themselves to make sure they shook their hand and gave them a flier for their candidate.

Guess they thought the jeans and t-shirt people were Dem's and they shouldn't waste their precious time or energy on them. Anyway they just didn't want to acknowledge the jeans and t-shirt people. If you can't do something to help their cause they don't want to bother with you. To me, it just shows the phoniness of Repugs. Well, time to go across the street and get ignored in our jeans and t-shirts.
