just watched some mothers from "Military Families Speak Out "
interviewed for Foreign Corespondent on ABC Television ( Australia).
It was very heartrending..one mother's son was killed by a bomb on his second day in Iraq. Another boy was badly injured in a Humvee and sent to Germany to recover..then back home. Now he's been sent back to Iraq while still having nightmares.

They won't even let the families greet the coffins to collect their children's bodies when they come into Dover which causes them even further anguish..one mother said she was convinced it was because more bodies are coming back than they are admitting to.

A pox on George Bush and his cohorts, I hope they rot in hell.

(I'll post a link when it appears)

1. They should rot in hell
I'll ask someone I know in MFSO to see if they have any info of under-reporting of deaths.

That is beyond despicable.

I can't wait until W is forced to resign in shame. It is the only way he will leave office. Unless of course, he plays the nuke card before that.

America’s War - The Hidden Toll
A year after George W. Bush declared the end of major conflict in Iraq, Americans are soul searching about a war they’re beginning to think will never end.

Washington correspondent Jill Colgan paints a human face on a grisly predicament. She meets the loved ones of those who were sent to Iraq but never returned.

“Opinion is turning in the United States” says Colgan. “Ordinary Americans are telling their President that the human cost of the war is too high”.

She meets Pat Gunn, the mother of 24 year-old marine Jason.

“These boys thought they’d be looking for weapons of mass destruction, but when they got there they found out they were in Iraq under false pretences” she said.

7. one of these marches was shown in the film..the marchers were met
with such agression from the guards.

It really is terrible that the US media which was so gung-ho about this war is not showing every aspect of the consequences.
