Essentially, he was talking about the women's march on Washington. He went on to say that Bush wouldn't be giving an opinion on it because it doesn't have to do with the "war on terror" -- and you know the President, he only talks about things that have to do with "terror". Stewart then mused, "But what if they could somehow link this to 9/11?" The first part of the Hughes clip was then played, and they came back to Jon with an astonished look. Stewart then said, "The only thing left is to equate women in favor of choice with terrorists...." Back to the Hughes clip, where she does precisely that. Jon, needless to say, was incredulous.

It's important to remember just what Karen Hughes IS. This is a person who said she would have loved to have worked for Exxon as a PR flack immediately following the Valdez oil spill, simply because of the challenge it represented. She's a person blinded by ambition first and foremost, and has demonstrated a willingness to not only step on anyone who gets in her way but also of selling her own soul in pursuit of that ambition.
