We all know that freepers infiltrate this board. Who do they really serve?

I have had the notion for some time that those who infiltrate this board may have ambitions and motivations beyond just re-electing Bush. I believe that there are paid industrial forces who serve to obfuscate, distract, and distort relevant information that disturbs and exposes the nests of their bosses. Who might they work for? Any corporation or organization that benefits from government appropriations and largess would be suspect. And why not? The dissimination and distribution of information is controlled elsewhere, from disappearing web pages to discontinued articles, and discredited sources, the control of information is an integral part of business. With the blur between industry and government, it is reasonable to pin all of the disruptors on some effort to elect Bush. But, I suspect that more must be at stake than the Texas loser. DU is as much as a threat as any news source, in some respects more, with our diverse readership.
