Poll question: Was Pat Tillman the only one killed?
I hope his fellow crew members get the same respect.

1. Press coverage in no way approximates respect. >
I think this is one of those realities we can simply let go without getting "offended."

2. I was wondering the same thing

It seems that we are valuing the life of one soldier more then any other.
I pray for his family and I am truly sorry that he was killed.
I just don't understand why we can at least honor our other soldier by seeing their caskets draped and honored with the flag.

3. We're certainly not respecting HIS family's "privacy"
That's the reason the public sees no returning caskets, "respect"

right

5. According to the original news article....
the platoon was ambushed by Afghan "rebels" and one rebel was killed.
Tillman was the only US soldier killed.

7. What were the two soldiers names?

I am asking because I believe that all people are equal in God's eyes.
I think we should have CNN list the names on a scroll for us to see every day instead of that bottom scroll that they have now. The banner that tells you what Osborne is in Rehab this week. What Whitney and Bobby are doing and on and on.

8. Doesn't matter....
cause they're "just soldiers" doing the Lord's work bringing about
"stability and democracy" which is being impartially brought upon
our fearless leader... :eyes:

Tillman is the only one that counts because people watch football.

10. Was Pat Tillman the only one killed?
Poll question: Was Pat Tillman the only one killed?

Clearly he wasn't the only one killed but I personally didn't know anyone else over there. I grew up in AZ and went to ASU at the same time Pat did. I followed his career at ASU and his time with the Cardinals. He was nothing short of a real life "Rudy" and this is the closest I will come to knowing someone that has been killed over there. As sad as it sounds, I didn't know any of the others killed until after they died so the impact wasn't the same as losing someone I had known. I know the others that died before him were all "Rudys" to those they knew but for those of us that didn't know anyone in battle, Pat's death personalizes it for us.
