Sleeping With The Devil by Robert Baer

Today I plunked down $24.95 plus tax for this book. Nearly every chapter of the book contains a few sentences here and there with dark lines through them, which makes them unreadable.

My questions are these:

Who would have the authority to do that?

If these sentences are crucial to protecting someone's identity or national security why was is not omitted from the published text in the first place? What kind of con job is this?

They don't seem to detract from the information in the paragraph and could have been easily omitted without anyone being the wiser.


I feel like I'm reading the redacted 9/11 report! What the hell is the point!! Mr. Baer, if you can't or won't tell me then don't yank my chain.

I haven't made up my mind yet if it was worth the money because I'm only up to page 17. :evilgrin:
