THIS JUST IN FROM DFA DELEGATION TO THE MARCH FOR WOMEN'S LIVES:
"We've made it! The March for Women's Lives is this Sunday and we are expecting over 1000 people to participate as members of the Democracy for America Delegation! ONE OF US WILL BE THE GOOD DOCTOR HIMSELF!
6) We will be supplying DFA name tags and would encourage everyone to wear one as we all would love to get to know one another. At the very least, do take one because we will be using them to get a final count on the size of the delegation. Also, if youd like to help out the March steering committee by printing out and bringing labels to share, you can download the labels here (check for store brand equivalents of Avery 5395 or 8395 when purchasing labels) If you are bringing labels, please send an email to dfamarchdelegation@yahoo.com and let us know how many sheets you can bring.
7) Try to get to the National Mall by 9 am if possible (btw 3rd and 14th St. NW). We know this is not possible for everyone, but the earlier you arrive, the easier it will be to find the delegation site and to move around in the crowd. When you arrive to the Mall, March volunteers will direct you to the DFA March Delegation location. As of today, we still have not been notified about where our delegation will be located. The actual marching won't take place until noon, so there should be plenty of time to find the delegation. Please down load and print out the following information if you are not familiar with DC.
SNIP..." If you have RSVP'd for the Finn MacCool's event on Saturday night, please try to arrive there no later than 6 p.m. if you have ordered food, as that is when the food will be served. If you have not yet RSVP'd, please do so right away and include your desired meal (choices: Cobb Salad, Grilled Vegetable Sandwich, Fish and Chips) dfamarchdelgation@yahoo.com.
10) We will be distributing bandanas and buttons at Finn MacCool's and would love to unload as many as possible so that we have less to carry around on Sunday. We will definitely have some with us on Sunday for those who are not arriving until Sunday morning. I must let everyone know that the size of the delegation may exceed our supply of bandanas and buttons...we had to make a reasonable guess when we ordered.
Please remember to check the website www.dfamarchdelegation.org at the last possible minute before traveling to DC, just in case there are any last-minute announcements...."
And Dean's comments on being there Sunday;
Join Me in Washington DC
Dear Supporter,
George Bush and his right-wing allies are waging a systematic campaign to roll back a woman's right to choose. And we cannot stand for it.
That's why I am traveling to Washington for the March for Women's Lives on April 25th.
Americans from across the country will converge on the National Mall to stand together and show that we will not let politicians get in the middle of decisions between a woman and her doctor. Join me and represent the Democracy for America grassroots in Washington, D.C. on the 25th:

http://www.democracyforamerica.com/choicevideoThis administration has pursued dangerous, extremist policies that put women's lives at risk -- both at home and abroad. Those who care about choice and freedom must stand up and be heard. And we will -- I hope you'll join us in Washington, D.C. on April 25th.
Thank you.
Governor Howard Dean, M.D.
