I've always wondered "With all the liberal posters with a pleasant sounding laugh on the Internet, why the heck did they pick CatWoman?"

Sure she's well-known for her other ventures, and so she does have some marquee value, but I just can't get over that annoying laugh. Besides, I prefer someone who does nothing more than giggle softly, the way they do on NPR. You'd never hear Amy GOodman snickering the way CatWoman does. I bet it's turned a lot of liberals off of DU.

But don't get me wrong. I still love CatWoman. I posted this in the interests of constructive criticism.

Seriously, I think I've got a GREAT laugh, but through the years, certain nasty, fun-hating folks have made fun of my laugh.

You know, I happen to think that making fun of the way someone laughs is especially mean, discouraging and unnecessary. Nothing but killjoys, people like that.
