HELP FREE GOVERNOR EDWARDS
Blared the headline of a flyer inserted in the Sunday Times-Picayune of New Orleans. An organization has been formed to petition the president to pardon former Democratic Louisana Governor Edwin Edwards who was sentenced to ten years in prison for granting licenses for riverboat casinos (in not the most ethical manner). Imagine Edwin Edwards, requesting a pardon from a rapist, deserter, corporate criminal and a liar. God Bless America!
