A quick take on the news of Chalabi's nephew being named judge for the upcoming trial of Hussein.

So we pay an expatriate Iraqi (one who hadn't been out of London for at least forty years) for some dubious "insider intelligence", promise him Saddam, promise him a role in governing Iraq, parlay that intelligence into the Iraq War Resolution, check in with the Saudi "friend of the family" Bendar, invade and occupy Iraq at the cost of 700 American lives, countless thousands of Iraqi lives and billions in deficit dollars, set up his nephew as presiding judge for Saddam's trial, "hand over" Iraq to this convicted embezzler, who was in our employ from day one, while his nephew collects the blood prize.

Mission Accomplished.

I'm reading House of Bush, House of Saud and the ties that bind us to Saudi Arabia going back to poppy bush and Raygun. My head is about to explode! I can't stress how much I feel that this book should be read by everyone who wants to understand what the hell is going on with this administration.
