What do you think of Carlos Watson at CNN?

He's the new political analyst at CNN. It seems like he is being groomed to be the Senior Analyst after Bill Schneider retires. Watson seems to me to be very articulate, very fair and not at all condescending. He has a law degree and he was a former Democratic staffer. I think his analyses are very sharp. What do you all think of him?

7. I like him so far. I also have liked that he hasn't just said

what every other talking head says such as: 1. This isn't probably going to be a close election like everyone says, incumbents either win by a lot (Clinton, Reagan) or lose by a lot (Carter, Bush I); and 2. He was the one that made the comment about the power of the blogs this year - he mentioned Daily Kos and DU (it was the background page they showed during his story) and how liberal blogs seem to be larger and more powerful - an answer to the domination of RW talk radio.

I'm out of the country at present, so I haven't seen Carlos yet. But I have called/emailed CNN countless times asking that they do one of three things: 1. Fire Bill Schneider as "CNN senior political analyst" because of his AEI agenda. 2. Inform viewers on-air every time he appears that he has said political agenda. 3. Hire another political analyst to serve with Schneider, with a different agenda. Are you reporting that one of these three things has, at long last, happened?
