Why moan about Gallup poll while IGNORING great Zogby & Newsweek polls?
Edited on Mon Apr-19-04 08:00 PM by blm
I find it odd that so many of those who post doom and gloom over the Gallup poll, failed to post on threads showing that Kerry had definite leads over Bush.

I should think that anyone who was SO concerned with polls that they lose their head over Gallup and declare doom for Dems in November (even suggesting we give up or turn our energy elsewhere) would have at least acknowledged the positive aspects of the polls showing Kerry ahead.

Anyone else see the disconnect there?

2. True. Gallup is the most biased poll. Fox polls don't show Bushler...
with so much strength!

Ignore Gallup!

3. Easy enough to understand
people who are still upset that their guy didn't win will point out ANYTHING that shows Kerry to be a poor choice. It's their way of saying "neener-neener, told ya so" even though THEIR guy would be doing MUCH worse right now.

Sore losers, is all it is.

9. I'd say that's true of some, but....
others seem to be disingenuous in their concern.

14. Exactly. These guys come around every time trying to plant the idiotic
notion that Bush is unbeatable. Sheer nonsense. Probably the same guys the GOP paid to "riot" in Florida. Pure melodrama for the faint of heart.

FOX even had Kerry up by 1 - Woodward comes out and destroys junior, now junior is ahead. I don't get it. But I do know lots of, more than usual doomdayer's are out.

Thanks and now we can remind the doomers that FOUR polls have Kerry ahead, yet they have posted only about the ONE Gallup poll.

15. even Rasmussen

16. The fact is
These polls are all virtually the same when you take in the margin or error, especially when you deflate those that seem overly generous to Nadar.

Polls at this time don't mean much. Alot of stuff will happen over the next 7 months that we can't predict.

You can only make yourself nuts lerching from poll to poll.

17. No one should even look at a damn poll until after the DNC
and even then take it all with a BIG grain of salt. Polls are incredibly unreliable and events can change from day to day. I don't care what they show - Kerry up by ten points or bush up by four points. Right now they are pointless . . .

19. Nobody should care about polls until Sept 30th.
Polls are a snapshot, and this year with the war and the economy nothing matters until Labor Day....
But then again...polls never matter until labor day.
Just ask former pres. Dole.......

so his polls got wider play.
