"I don't plan to lose"
He keeps saying that.

Recall on Election Night 2000 when he was interviewed in his hotel room with Daddy and Mommy. Daddy was very nervous, like he'd perpetrated something. My wife said so at the time before everything broke loose from the moorings. She was suspicious of them because she felt that they were acting like criminals. I pooh-poohed it and said that it was pure bravado. Wrong again...

what did Junior say? My brother is working on it now and he essentially said that the fix was in. i also, as a PA resident, was curious about how the gfamily was calling PA for Bush and then it instantly wnet for gore but only by 6%, down from earlier estimates based on exit polls. Wonder what was going on here that didn't work out...

3. Too bad
We don't plan on letting him win. And he seems to be forgetting that no plan survives contact with the enemy.

4. Quite apart from the possibility that the fix may be in already for
Election 2004,notice how Bush and many of the newscasters talk about
elections as though they are ball games with no intent or effort to
educate the electorate on the issues involved. This produces the ethic,
just as in ball games, that you do anything and everything necessary for a win.The incessant harping on polls and their margins of error
is indicative of the bankruptcy of mind that we are stuck with.Far from bringing Democracy to the Middle East, it would be more appropriate to call for Democracy at home with an involved and alert
citizenry able to understand the issues and vote for the people of their choice.Unfortunately, we will have to wait for a miracle
because with an administration bent on deceiving the public at every turn, an informed citizenry will be a mirage.

At some point the cacophony of voices in our media only produce noise
and very little information.Ironically, the War on Iraq has physically victimized our soldiers and the Iraqi civilians and threatens to victimize the rest of us by creating an information vacuum that will deal a death blow to our Democracy.

6. Very nice, Veggie. I agree with you.
How true words written: "call for Democracy at home". You've probably zeroed in on the problem we are all dealing with, both here in the US and unfortunately something the rest of the world has to deal with by default.

We have a populace which is asleep at the wheel. We're about to go over the cliff! Because some hoodlum down the street saw the car unattended and jumped in. Little do they know THEY'RE running the show. Americans have the ability to make a change.

I just find myself amazed at all the testimonials, all the people who have taken enormous risks to expose this criminal enterprise in Washington. There has been a virtual parade of witnesses, who have all the information we need to oust these weasels once and for all.

7. I remember that. I remember him looking up from this seated squat
and saying "I'm sure not concedin' Florida." It was uttered with such conviction and certainty that I immediately reacted with the heebie-jeebies. I can remember thinking "oh REALLY? The DEVIL you say." And then "you sound awfully sure about that." Followed by "wonder why." That moment, like the one with "it'd be a lot easier to govern if this was a dictatorship and I was the dictator," made my eyebrows go way up and my stomach drop way down. It was like this little red alert flag that keeps popping up in the back of my head when something's fishy.
