The MISadministration: Bush* Scandals with NO Accountability - Impeach!
Edited on Sun Apr-18-04 12:18 PM by jackstraw45
It's my understanding that NO ONE has been fired for the following IMPEACHABLE offenses (if the Presidnt was involved): 1. Medicare Bill - Lying to Congress about cost of the bill - a $250 BILLION Dollar lie. 2. Valerie Plame Leak from Senior White House official - TREASON 3. $700 million dollars specifically budgeted by Congress for Afghanistan gets spent in illegal war prep. for Iraq. I know there are many more but any of these ALONE are enough for impeachment if ANY were directly involving the president*. THESE ARE HIGH CRIMES. Am I wrong?

It also could be argued that the invasion of Iraq and the lying to Congress that led up to it are impeachable, treasonous high crimes.

2. Is Congress to limp to mention these crimes openly?
Is it our duty to march into the Capital and DEMAND some accountability for the actions of our goverment? If this was the private sector, there would be firings all around. It's OUR government and OUR tax dollars that are being spent to furhter a criminal agenda with NO accountability. Congress MUST step up and stop being polite. Blow jobs they can investigate - I guess treason and lying to Congress about HUNDREDS of BILLIONS is just a folksy president* being folksy...

3. Impeachment is an impossibility.
It's fun to list the grounds, but the fact is that Republicans never demand accountability from their own.

4. Clinton would have been hung from the nearest tree for any of these things
but with a Republican controlled Congress, Bush could do anything and get away with it. Impeachment will never happen.
