If ya know whats good for you-shut the fuck up-let Bush steal the election
Edited on Sat Apr-17-04 04:07 PM by Zinfandel
AGAIN!

Man, do I hate "subtle" attacks...fucking blow the asshole Bush out of the water, Kerry's not going to be president, even if he wins!!!! They are going to steal this election again. This election is a sham!!!

Tell me, who, or how can ANYONE stop them???? (Decades of right-wing "think" tanks have done their job!)

With a republican Congress, republican Senate, republican President, republican Attorney General, a partisan (republican) Supreme Court, a republican owned corporate media and complete republican control of the military...what can anyone do???

If they went on air, the the day after the election and said... "We just stole the presidency and fuck off". What would or could anyone do? There might be a few riots in the street, (I said "might") maybe, no guarantees. Our passive, dumbed down--who gives a fuck--I just want to get laid--where's the money, country we live in...I don't see much resistance, but save some isolated protest in perhaps NYC, SF and DC and even that will mellow out after a while, and maybe Randi Rhodes might scream a little...and we'll all be grumbling with each other on sites like DU before they close them down... "oh yeah, I know it, they stole the election, damn it!"...AGAIN!

However, these greedy, lying. shameless republicans are subtle too, they will try to hide and will succeed with the theft of the presidency, again...

As it'll go through committee after republican led committee, distortions will be fed to an eager republican owned media, but it's already been decided...all the while BushCo will still be in complete control of this fascist imperialistic corporation, the United States

"God Bless America" --Bush is the Messiah...and you better believe it, if you know what's good for you...

1. I really hate to say this,
You may be right. They may just do it and say: "What ya' gonna do?"

The Military would have to revolt. That's why we need to get rid of Rumsfeld NOW! Put someone like McCain in as SoD.

3. Mc Cain???!!!
The original poster of this thread use "subtle" so many times I guess I will use it here: McCain and Bush's differences are subtle. How, please tell, would "we" get some one like McCain in a BUSH Admin? Why do you think Bush would listen to us? I ask these questions pretending that this is an idea that would make any difference.

6. Glad you asked
The only ignorant question is one that goes unasked.

McCain has the experience of being a POW. Rumsfeld needs to be removed, now, right? So who should replace him? Someone like McCain who really believes in the American experience and has served.

Given that the theory proposed in this thread may come to pass, coupled with my feeling that the military may be the only force capable of withstanding the * cabal, we will need a true Patriot -- like McCain(?) -- as the head of the DoD when they revolt. Rummy would suppress a revolt. McCain, I am thinking, would allow a return to a constitutional republic.

10. You told me why you think this is a good idea and why you like McCain
Edited on Sat Apr-17-04 04:24 PM by Prodemsouth
It was more about why you like McCain. Sorry, but you did not answer my question.
Edit: make post more polite, clarify meaning.

11. Polite is good
McCain. Don't really like the puke, or any puke for that matter.
But as a replacement for a deposed Rumsfeld, methinks i'd do a little jig. Got anyone else in mind?

13. BeFree, with all due respect the questions I asked were: Why would Bush
do it, (appoint McCain to DoD)? Why do you think Bush "cares what (we) think." No, I haven't got anyone else in mind because I do not dwell in the land of not going to happen. I don't have any imput in this Admin. Woodward just told us that Bush talked to Rummy first about the Iraq War and kept others in the dark. You think Bush is going to get rid of this guy after reading that?

18. It's a theory we are discussing.
In that theory...yada yada yada

Why would * get rid of Rummy? Are ya kidding? Rummy is hated by the military brass (so we've heard), and he is responsible for the planning (what planning?) in Iraq. Someone in the administration will have to sacrifice for the botched Iraq invasion. I hope it's Rummy.

Question: would you like to see rummy removed, or not?

21. Unlike some here, I want to see the entire Bush Administration removed.
But, I know that Bush is not going to get rid of Rummy because this close to an election it would make him look like he did screw up. It would confirm Kerry's assessment of his failures.

23. Confirm Kerry's assessment
Ya got that right. If we can somehow get rummy fired (imo, a good chance of that) Kerry's got a leg up, eh?

20. So you prefer a benevolent dictator.
Edited on Sat Apr-17-04 05:06 PM by aquart
This McCain idolatry is bizarre.

McCain, I am thinking, would allow a return to a constitutional republic.

Allow??????????

Sorry. McCain survived torture, let's all worship him? Are you confusing him with that movie Mel made?

And designating McCain a "true Patriot" (also, oddly, a movie Mel made) on the basis of that torture is just ridiculous. He didn't survive because he loved his country. He survived because he wanted to live.

There is some very creepy-crawly, WE MUST GIVE UP BECAUSE THERE IS NO HOPE NO HOPE NO HOPE AT ALL stuff being circulated here today. Kind of like a disinformation campaign to demoralize the enemy......

Damn. THAT's what it is. We've been invaded by the ghosts of Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw Haw.

24. Putting words in my mouth, bad form, aquart, bad form
Yeah, I can see how one could stretch 'allow'. My bad.

Look aquart, settle down for a second. If the cabal is as bad as some think, the theory put forth in this thread is not that far out. Of course, if ya can't even believe a little in LIHOP, then I guess it's a waste talking to ya, eh?

Ya know, I could really blast you for putting words in my mouth, but i don't feel like fighting today. Unity is more important than standing up for ol' BeFree. Peace.

We can't go into this election with out it being completely exposed and out in the open, for anyone NOT to deny.

7. That's been my point for months
I wrote to Moveon.org about this too - we should have UN oversight of the election, citing as cause the 2000 election, in which votes were nullified.

14. Gotta love that sig line, hollyroller.
Damn, Carter nailed it didn't he? A prophet was rejected in his native land.

"We are at a turning point in our history. There are two paths to choose. One is a path I've warned about tonight, the path that leads to fragmentation and self-interest. Down that road lies a mistaken idea of freedom, the right to grasp for ourselves some advantage over others. That path would be one of constant conflict between narrow interests ending in chaos and immobility. It is a certain route to failure."--Jimmy Carter on Crisis of Confidence Speech 1979

Route to failure -- a miserable failure, that's where we've ended up, eh?

12. I agree that they could do it. I just wonder if they're *that* nuts.
Or maybe they figure that a Kerry Presidency with a repuke Congress would be doomed anyway AND they could blame him for the economic meltdown that these criminals are setting us up for...

Maybe even High Commander Rummy.

I'm talking about the Lords of the Universe (Like The Walton Family, the Scaife types, etcetera) that you don't see on TV. They might not be so willing.

PS~ Yes married. But still a crazy Leftist:-)

15. Slap! Now snap out of it!
Not even Republicans want Bush to have another term. He's an economic nightmare and he's about to crash the world.

In case you never noticed, FASCISTS DON'T WIN. They really annoy people who get together to kill them. Of course, over ten percent of your general population may be dead by then, and they only go dormant, not dead, but they're a bad idea and they will always be a bad AND inefficient idea.

It doesn't matter what BushCo has decided. They don't actually understand people or how the world works with people in it.

This kind of rampant hysteria is what I'm used to every weekend when someone on my soap opera list decides Sonny and Carly will never get together again.
