Should the DU host a presdenchal debate?
Aprintly, their was a debate not too long ago. But I have not yet to see it. Nor have I seen a transcript. (If some one knows where one is, let me know.)

But with 30,000 members strong, do you think the DU now has the mussel to host a Demcanadate debate? Perhaps a specual foruem would be opened up just for the danadates, and a hand full of DU members to post questions.

What do you think? Would the mods and sops weigh in on this too please. :)

1. It's too late
The invitations would have had to have been sent months ago. The candidates' schedules are all booked probably. Then again maybe you might be able to get them here, although I don't see it happening.

4. What sceduals?
The nature of a mesage board means that they do NOT have to agree on a time or place. This forum could be opened for say a few weeks, or even a month, with each canadate posting at their conveience.

(Sorry for the spelling. Not all of us are walking dictonaries.)

5. Excellent Idea
I think that this would be a great idea. Having a presidential candidate speak here would be a great way for the candidates to talk to over 30,000 of their core, possibly giving them ideas for how to excite the base. I'm sure Dean would do it, since he's the "Internet Candidate"
