Mike Malloy's latest blog is up...
at his website...www.mikemalloy.com Go to the "biting back" section on the left side of the page! He writes just as he speaks...almost had me in a trance reading it just as he did when he was speaking!
Air America is really making a grave mistake by leaving him out in the cold!  :wtf:

1. I like Mike also....
I listend to him on IE America Radio. Hopefully he comes back soon, but I think he is being blacklisted. I agree he is a bit crude at times, but he sure can get the point across....LOL

Mike Malloy says what must be said to get the point across. He doesn't fare well with the likes of Al Franken IMO, as Franken says he was "for the war" as Malloy was/is dead against it. This type of attitude makes Air America seem "ok" - liveable, marketable ...

Franken and others are almost impotent compared to Mike Malloy. Given what has happened to Air America already, perhaps it is for the best that Mike didn't get picked up by Air America.

I think that they too are afraid of the truth Truthseekers!

Mike is far to left wing for them. He doesn't sugar coat, he lays it out there the way it is, like it or not. He doesn't give a damn - a quality I greatly admire in a fellow human being!!!

3. Air America should give him the 11-2 am slot...
but I won't hold my breath. There are one or two pieces of deadwood in the AA lineup that need to be removed, imho...

19. how about a weekend slot?
they repeat a lot on the weekends now and it would be good to have somebody live on Sundays after all the Republics make the rounds of the morning talk shows with their talking points.

4. Man... This Just Kills Me !!!
<snip>

As far as my joining Air America (AA) I am as surprised as you are that that hasn't happened yet. I fully expected to be one of the first people hired as the network got ready to launch. That didn't happen and I truly have no idea why. If they do decide, eventually, to include me in the country's only liberal network, I'll post it here and we can all celebrate. In the meantime, I am applying to whatever network, syndicator, or individual major-market station we can think of. So far, no results. Which is usually the situation. For some reason (ha-ha) those who make hiring decisions in radio tend to get real nervous after they listen to my audition CD. (Which you can download at www.whiterosesociety.org - about halfway down the page.) I don't know why. I think I'm very informative, entertaining and certainly liberal. Whatever. We'll keep you posted

Is it fearful Liberals, or fearful radio stations???

:wtf:

Sometimes I think we deserve to lose, ya know???

soon! Mike isn't a spring chicken anymore (well...he's about to be a daddy again...so I guess he THINKS he is...nothing wrong with that ) and the longer he's left out to dry takes the edge off a little. It's pretty hard to believe that though...just go to the archives at www.whiterosesociety.org and listen to the past shows (see...he makes me doubt myself) and you'll get the picture if you aren't familiar with him! Is he my hero?...UBETCHA!:pals:

12. Mike Malloy is my hero too!! :)
I hope he finds another place soon. You are right, he isn't so young anymore and his health hasn't been the greatest in recent months.

I hope he finds a place that really wants him and needs him. That would be best for him rather than being suffocated by the likes of Air America. They are missing out bigtime because, frankly, I think they are chicken shtye.

11. Contact them (again)
http://www.airamericaradio.com/pub/resContactUs.htm

I am delighted to have access to Air America. It is ALMOST enough to ease the pain of losing Mike Malloy. But not quite. AAR is better than I expected it to be, but adding Mike Malloy would be a brilliant move. Not just because it would make me very happy and drive a pickaxe into the heart of the BFEE, but because it would also assure the success of AAR. Hear the freepers SCREAM! And watch the ratings skyrocket.

I Need My Mike Malloy!
And AAR needs Mike Malloy!

13. They definitely need diversity.
I love Randi Rhodes, who is always telling enlisted people not to go back to Iraq: "Bush didn't go back, so don't go back". She's against the Iraq war, Franken is for it, and I don't know about the others, Lizz Winstead is probably against it.

I think they need to include tons of diverse liberal opinions instead of letting the right pigeonhole us into one position, because truthfully, the right doesn't agree on anything either, which is why there are about 47 different kinds of baptists (free will, fundamentalist, moderates, etc.)

Like Carville says, they just know when their guy gets in office he is going to do what they want, so they rally behind him...I'd like to see AirAmerica offer as many diverse points of view as possible.

18. I have given up on Air America hiring Malloy.
Air America is making a mistake in not hiring him. I think that he should just come to Seattle and take over the overnight slot on KIRO 710 AM. He would be great having him on after Mike Webb.
