Even Arlen Sphincter is starting to question * , is he skeerd?
I love it when their plan falls apart! The stock market fell like Bush's poll numbers and has been frozen for weeks in limbo! What if your social security was invested, would you feel secure like Bush swore you would 2 1/2 years ago? The only thing Bush can do right is steal! Bush can't even lie right!

The New T tick is the thing that scares me now! Bush has his own CIA that is accountable to nobody but him! They aren't even on a government payroll! The guy running it admitted that it doesn't even exist, but yet it's telling the Department of Homeland Security what to do and how to do it! It's like the secret group in the pentagon who are starting and running wars without congressional input!

People I want to call your attention to the new domestic illegal CIA the 'Terrorist Threat Integration Center' which began secret ops on May 1/2003! It's the CIA with the permission to spy on you and me regardless of a law that states that what they are doing to us is not only wrong but is against the law of the land! Bushco swears that this will never be used on us BUT we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that BUSH LIES! Here is what I'm talkin' bout:

CIA Wins Control of Terrorist Data Mining Program

FBI, CIA analysts to begin working under same roof

But there is worry that the fusion of law enforcement and intelligence could lead to a situation where the CIA is essentially spying on Americans on U.S soil, reminiscent of a dark chapter in intelligence history.

"I think these guys are crazy. It's very worrisome how far they are pushing the line," said former CIA Inspector General Fred Hitz, who teaches at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.

"I think it's illegal," Hitz said.

Critics say that's a back door way for the CIA to spy within U.S. borders, something it's prohibited from doing by the National Security Act of 1947.

Georgetown University Law School Professor David Cole, author of the book "Terrorism and the Constitution," said the alliance brings to mind the abuses of the Vietnam era when the FBI and the CIA spied on anti-war demonstrators, suspected communists and civil rights leaders.

Edited on Tue Aug-05-03 10:43 PM by Hubert Flottz
These old repub warhorses are covering their asses nowdays! It's a pleasure to see! The TTIC thing I was watching was another case of some house repubs grilling the Bushistas from TTIC in a hearing about a week ago! The Senate also had a hearing with witnesses from Bush's new domestic spy outfit, but I didn't get to see it!

Senators press for handover of Saudi names

By Marianne Brun-Rovet in Washington
Published: August 5 2003 19:04 | Last Updated: August 5 2003 19:04

excerpt -

Mr Specter said on Tuesday he would subpoena the Treasury for the information if it was not released voluntarily.

He and other members of the committee raised concerns last week that economic sanctions or criminal investigations of certain groups had been scuttled because the State Department sought to shield the Saudi government for foreign policy reasons.

Several senators had badgered Treasury and FBI officials about why the US had not moved to freeze the assets of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth and the International Islamic Relief Organisation, two Saudi charities alleged to have links to terrorist groups.

8. Spector....will stand up and question
This is the what I was trying to say in an earlier thread...with him standing up, and asking questions... I don't think I will ever have a democratic Senator....oops I mean until Santorum is up for re-election.

The problem with Spector right now, is that the GOP will probably drop him, and favor that other contender....the right wringer...

Then maybe the dems, will have a chance to win, but going against Spector one on one, never..

This isn't my personal opinion, but everyone I know likes and respects Spector, cause he does ask questions...
(At least he learned something after the Warren commission)

7. Arlen is a master politician
Here in PA, Arlen knows that he has to keep a lot of Democrats happy or he will not be elected.

He has always tried to give the impression of being a concerned, moderate Republican from a heavily Democratic state.

He is universally despised by conservatives, loved by country club Repubs, and tolerated by Dems.

He is truly a master.

9. Heavily Democratic?
Is that based on presidential election results? Specter's been there forever, Santorum(!), and Ridge. I know the gov is now a dem. Is the state legislature heavily dem?

15. Yes, PA is heavily Democratic!
Has a 2-1 Demo registration edge, but tends to elect pragmatic politicians, both Dem and Republican.

Gore won by a quarter million votes.

Rendell swamped Fisher.

Santorum is a right-winger with support from a stange array of allies (Roman Catholics, Center-State Conservatives, general rednecks, anti-abortionists, and certain labor groups). He has never faced a strong challenger in any state-wide election, and would get murdered by anyone of Rendell's caliber.

Specter is a schmoozer, first-class! Wins close elections.

The State Legislature bounces back and forth between parties, and rarely has any real majority.

16. Torgo, I know the cities are...but you have to watch the T
That is exactly what Ridge told Bush on election night...you have to watch the T, meaning everything northern, at the top of the state, straight down thru, where I live...all of which is pretty republican.

18. I hadn't watched him long!
I started watching Arlan S during the Clinton impeachment circus! I learned at that time that the man was a real GOPer to the bone! Thanks to your explanation, I see now why he is starting to bark like another dog! Trying to steal another term under false pretenses and bullshit! It goes to show you that, with repubs what you see and hear is seldom what you really get!

Edited on Wed Aug-06-03 11:03 AM by Hubert Flottz
Bush is turning the CIA loose on you and me contrary to the law of the land! All the Spies have to do now, is add an A to TTIC and they will be looking at every BOOB in America and telling the Royal Boob about it!

Come, we click on the TTIC link before it's too late!

TTIC = KGB/GESTAPO!

24. Say what you will about Arlen Specter,
but I will always respect him for voting against the impeachment of our last duly elected president, Bill Clinton. He did it in a cowardly way, mind you, but nevertheless he didn't vote yes. And for that I respect him for it.

25. No doubt the Busheviks are already putting their KGB apparatus
in place.

It's also pretty funny how Congress can 86 TIPS and TUA, and WE KNOW that the Busheviks are still doing them under other guises and perhaps even dipping into their no-doubt-swollen Black Ops Budget to do so.

Yes, they are getting ready to go Soviet on us. Yes, in the future this could degenerate, perhaps during the reign of Emperor Jeb or Emperor George P. Caligula, to "going Nazi".

We'll see, these Busheviks have been far "kinder and gentler" than the men their Grandfather financed, so maybe it will be more of a "Farenheit 451" existance.

One thing is sure, if the Busheviks aren't stopped, the Old American Republic is dead.

Busheviks and democratic-republics don't mix. Not at all.
