CNN biased reporting on Fallujah, Iraq
CNN Headline News, at 6:30 PM Eastern time, said that women and children are leaving Fallujah. That is true, and comes from this AP story:
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040409/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_fallujah_11

What CNN didn't tell its viewers is that the reason men aren't leaving isn't that men want to be bombed, but because US Marines are preventing men of "military age" from leaving.

CNN uses an AP story while omitting information from that AP story which makes the US military look bad.

Refugees Exit Fallujah After Burying Dead
1 hour, 45 minutes ago

By LOURDES NAVARRO and ABDUL-QADER SAADI, Associated Press Writers

FALLUJAH, Iraq - The people of Fallujah carried their dead to the city's soccer stadium and buried them under the field on Friday, unable to get to cemeteries because of a U.S. siege of the city.

As the struggle for Fallujah entered a fifth day, hundreds of women, children and the elderly streamed out of the city. Marines ordered Iraqi men of "military age" to stay behind, sometimes turning back entire families if they refused to be separated.

1. Let them have it. Stop the CNN... Conservative News Network from
omitting the truth from the American people and the world. CNN is equal to the state run Soviet medias of the cold war empire.
Tell CNN what you know...

5. True.
But in order to fight them, I do have to tune occasionally to slap them with their own lies. Left unchecked, CNN MSNBC will become total FOX clones.

he almost ALWAYS (95-100) takes the wingnut side

2. Mass graves?
like the ones we "found" after our siege of Baghdad?

we attack a Mosque & now use a soccer field as a graveyard?! Is anything sacred?

7. contacted CNN and gave them shit for it"
Marines ordered Iraqi men of "military age" to stay behind in Falluja, don't you think that might be important info? It's very misleading to mention the women and children leaving, but fail to mention that the men are *forbidden* to leave.

My disappointment with CNN grows daily. I can no longer rely on you for actual news, but you are a good source for keeping up with the Bush Admin's spin, since that spin is all that remains in your broadcasts.

You have failed us all

9. CNN gives a rat's ass
about fulfilling their obligation to the people whose airways they have seized. If the Letterman "incident" hasn't made that clear I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WILL. Surround their offices and confront their "on-the-scene 'reporters'" with their DEADLY DUPLICITY.
