Has Condi ever REALLY been grilled?

I certainly can't recall an instance. I'm curious as to how much, if any, experience she has at this.

Seriously, I believe she is well educated enough, and certainly has had her hands FULL keeping a close advisorly watch on George.
I don't know about being on the hot seat without pre-scripted statements and limited questions from the press.
I would say that Condi has always remained very protected.

This should be interesting. Now if only we can trust that the panel questioning her will not allow her to LEAD their questioning.
Are they really tough enough to see through her inuendo?

7. Not that I remember

She's hard - when you see her remarks in writing, you see all the inconsistencies - but when she is interviewed, she speaks so very many words so very quickly so very assuredly and with not much change in tonal inflection that I thnk it is difficult for the interviewers on most shows to follow up appropriately.

I think the panel may not be so buffaloed by her tactics.

She impresses me as a straight A student with not a lot of common sense or true grasp of "the big picture."

She is tryiing to cram the square pegs of today's realities into the round holes of policies she learned and taught so many years ago. Because she is bright and has a big voacbulary, she can sound like she's making sense even though she isn't.

8. No one has been grilled and no one will be...

I want to pin this admin. down on how the pentagon was hit when it is in the most heavily guarded air-space in world,especially when you consider that we had known for over an hour that we were under attack by terrorist? They have never been taken to task over this....no one has pinned them down. Also,how is it that we had been warned reapeatedly by FBI agents and intelligence agencies from around that world that we were about to be hit by terrorist most likely using an airplane as a bomb....add to that that an unprecedented number of put options on United Airlines and other airlines were being submitted...FBI monitors the economic markets for clues of this type and these "puts" were wildly out of the norm. Also,how is it that we knew nothing about these terrorist before 911 but hours after the hit we seemed to know everything about them...doesn't ring true. Either this is the most ignorant admin. in the world or they let it happen....I'm only scratching the surface here...there were a lot more clues to 911 happening just giving you the ones that bother me most.
