"Eleven Marines died while engaged with the anti-Iraqi forces for more than seven hours; one died from wounds suffered during the firefight," the U.S. military said in a statement."

Those anti-Iraqi forces were all Iraqi's. Amazing. We are killing Iraqi's, but we're the pro-Iraqi forces? The mind boggles.

in the Iraqi press office; papers this weekend full of stories about the official press corps being heavily stacked with GOP operatives, placed there specifically to try to keep all the news positive and upbeat and complimentary of the BushCo whores and affirming that the war in Iraq was justified as part of the war on terrorism, gag me already...

Send it to Franken on Air America; he's looking for examples of just such stupidity. Send it to Kerry too, maybe. And the talk shows.

4. This whole situation oozes with irony

One of the excuses bunnypants uses for invading Iraq is the mass graves. Now we're creating mass graves. And why were there mass graves? Because Saddam put down the uprising against him. And why are we creating mass graves? Because we're putting down the uprising against us.

This is getting ridiculous! When did they become terrorists??? Last week we were liberating them.
